When I begin drawing, I enter a trance-like state. Where do the abstract images and strokes originate from? The finished picture resonates with past feelings and touches on emotions I'll feel later. My art and senses are intertwined, making it hard to pinpoint a starting point. While working on the abstract, I impulsively captured what I observed and the places I reached without a destination using a camera. It turned into a piece that dissects my original abstraction, evolving into moving abstract that responds to new sensations.
